MY VISION
My VISION……. Is to have a “mega church” in this Jonesboro – Paragould Arkansas area that will send out the message of reconciliation and salvation of the world loud and clear. To be able to tell the world that God really does love and forgive them and sent His son into the world to save them; not to condemn them. And that he did this while we were still in our messed up sinful state; but he has a plan for a process of purification that is Good News and not bad.This may seem wild, unachievable and unreasonable to some; but I serve a God that is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and all sovereign; and nothing shall be impossible with Him. I am 51 years old, so what’s your point? That would take millions of dollars; OK? You have never pastored a mega church; right? This is a very traditional Bible belt area; yes? Read the first sentence in this paragraph for the answers to all these questions.Besides even in the natural this is one of the fastest growing progressive areas in the state, some studies show in the country. There is not a mega church in this area. There is about a hundred thousand population in this whole area all together,
and growing very fast. The economic state in this area is far above the average in the country; and has been for quite some time and doesn’t look like its going to slow down anytime soon. Arkansas State University is here – which brings in “thinking people” from all over the state, nation, and world. There is quite a diversity of people in the Jonesboro area of many different religions from around the world. In the first church I served in here the senior pastor Troy Gramling started the church in rented clubhouse metal building with a handful of willing people which became “Southside Church” and within about three years we were running over 800 in a new facility. Troy was a very open minded man with a lot of “new ideas” and he could see the potential for a mega church in this area. His vision was one reason he was able to lead a ministry to grow so fast in this area. But the common thinkers overruled him in the end. And he went on to pastor Flamingo Road Church in Cooper City, southwest of Ft. Lauderdale and north of Miami, Florida. http://www.flamingoroadchurch.com/ . I think the dream of this mega church in this area is still to be achieved. But I think that one reason it failed at the first was that it is supposed to present the Gospel of Reconciliation, Restoration, and Salvation of the World! I believe God was speaking this to some but they were not hearing; that’s only my opinion. 
When I was first saved 31 years ago, in the first year of my salvation God gave me a vision and a strong word that I have not forgotten even to today and will never forget. I was praying and meditating on the word and suddenly in a vision I saw darkness and a light shining on a bible over a bridge; and The Lord said, “I want you to bridge the gap”. So I said OK Lord what does that mean? There was silence and when I asked a few more times with the same result I came to the conclusion that it was not time for me to know. The years past and I would get bits and pieces of it but could not put it all together; until just this year. I came into the message of universal reconciliation and salvation about 6 years ago and after studying it intensely all this time; I am completely convinced of its truth and could not believe anything else if I wanted to. When
you know 2+2=4 you cannot be convinced that it equals 5 or 3. Such is the case with universal salvation. If God is all-powerful and all-knowing and all-present and all sovereign, loves all, is not a respecter of persons; then it is impossible for him to lose anyone or anything. It is really simple when you get past all the religious, rules, ceremonies, and denominational boxes that MEN have made up in their own imaginations’; because ninety five percent of it is not in the bible. To believe that God loses ninety percent of humanity because they did not know the right thing or do the right thing makes “Grace” ineffective, the devil victorious and God a very poor planning weakling. The bible says in many many places that Jesus Christ is the savior of the “WORLD” and that he took away the sin of the “WORLD” and that he is the savior of “ALL” mankind. I will not go into all of the proof text here that subject is sufficiently covered in other writings.
The point is that this salvation of all mankind directly ties into my vision and prophecy to “bridge the gap” is much bigger than I had first thought and this is why God withheld the full meaning of it until I was able to fully understand and handle the enormity of prophecy. It literally means to “bridge the gap” (the darkness) between God and all humanity (the bridge) with the truth (the word of God) that God loves all of them and has saved them (the light of the Gospel of Christ). That means all religions, nations, ethnic groups, genders, social status, ideologies, educational status, physically fit, physically ill, mentally ill, and emotionally ill, saint and sinner. Christ died for us ALL WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS not after we “got it right” according to whatever plan you may favor. Humanity needs to know this and this is what will “bridge the gap” between us all and man and God. This was symbolized on the day of Pentecost by every nation, tongue and religion being represented there and them hearing the “the wonderful works of God” Acts 2:5-11 then Peter went on to say that this was a fulfillment of Joel prophesying that God would “POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH” all mankind in other words. It is very plain when you get your preconceived notions out of the way. The reason Jesus said he had to go away was so that THE SPIRIT could come; and when he did on th
e day of Pentecost it was said that this was for ALL MANKIND. And that is what ALL MANKIND NEEDS TO HEAR. Not “turn or burn” or “fly or fry” for all eternity because God is just waiting to get you. I used to think those were funny little slogans but I really do not see the humor in them anymore. And it is definitely not what is going to bring reconciliation to this love starved world.
I do believe it is time for this message to go out with great power and the anointing of the Holy Ghost. When people hear “the wonderful works of God” the truly “good news” that they have a savior and he loved them all enough to die for them while they were yet in there sin, they will come in groves. Just like on the day of Pentecost when 3000 were baptized in one day! Mega church…….you will not be able to build a building big enough to hold them all.
So yes I think a mega church is a real possibility in this area or any area not because of anything in the natural that we can do or have done; but because of “the wonderful works or God” that He has already done! Yes when they hear they will come, when they hear with spiritual ears and believe in their heart it will come out their mouth as a confession of the wonderful works of God through Jesus Christ by the Spirit. You will not have to coax them into saying it, no no it will flow out of the abundance of the heart like a gushing spring of living waters. You don’t have to worry about “getting” people to confess Jesus as Lord. When they hear the truth you wont be able to hold them back from confessing Christ. And as the bible says no one can confess Jesus as Lord apart from the Holy Spirit 1Cor. 12:3 it also says that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Php 2:10-11 NASB)
So when God is pouring out His spirit on all people, regardless of their condition they start hearing the Gospel of their salvation, and they start confessing Jesus as Lord because of it, so we are going to need a place to put them. So why don’t we prepare a place for all these people to come together and worship the awesome savior of the world!
3000 would be a good start for a mega church; ah heck, the Holy Spirit can do that in one day!
